How Much Do Hayati Pods Cost? Every Range, Per Pod and Per 1,000 Puffs

Hayati pods cost between £2.99 and £6.99 a pack. The pack price tells you very little about what a range costs to run, though: worked out per 1,000 puffs, the cheapest Hayati is the Pro Ultra Plus 25K at 28p and the dearest is the Mini Ultra at £2.00 — an eightfold gap between two packs on the same shelf.

What a Hayati pod costs, by range

Cost per 1,000 puffs is the pack price divided by the pack’s rated puff count. It is the only figure that compares ranges honestly, because a £2.99 pack and a £6.99 pack are not buying remotely the same amount of vaping.

The Pro Max S1 has no multibuy because it does not need one — three packs at £2.99 already come to less than any three-for price we could offer. Rated puff counts are measured on machine draws, so real-world counts land lower across the board; the ranking between ranges holds either way. What a Hayati kit costs

A kit is the way into a range and pods are the way to continue it, because the device is the part you keep.

Across the five prefilled ranges a kit costs between 50p and £4 more than the matching pod pack, which is close to giving the device away on the first purchase. The Quokka is priced differently because it is the refillable range: its pod arrives empty, so you buy a bottle of liquid alongside the kit rather than getting one in the box. The cheapest way to run each kind of Hayati

Cheapest overall: the Pro Ultra Plus 25K at 26p per 1,000 puffs on the two-for-£12.99 pod price. Nothing prefilled comes close — the Rubik is next at 48p, and the Pro Max Plus at 83p. Cheaper still if you refill: a £2.49 bottle of nic salt fills the Quokka’s 2ml pod five times over, and five bottles are £10. That is the lowest running cost in the range, at the price of filling the pod yourself.

Cheapest to buy today: the Pro Max S1 pack at £2.99, or a Mini Ultra or S1 kit at £3.99. Both are expensive per puff — £1.50 and £2.33 per 1,000 — so they suit trying the brand or keeping a spare rather than daily use.

The honest summary: the more you pay per pack, the less you pay per puff. A £6.99 Pro Ultra Plus pack costs well over twice a £2.99 S1 pack and works out five times cheaper to run.

What the 2026 vape tax will add

Vaping Products Duty starts on 1 October 2026 at £2.20 per 10ml — 22p per millilitre — on all vaping liquid, whether or not it contains nicotine. VAT is charged on top of the duty. Duty is charged on volume, so what it adds to a pod depends entirely on how much liquid the pack holds.

The Quokka pod is not in that table because it is sold empty — there is no liquid in it to tax. A Quokka owner pays the duty on the 10ml bottle they refill it from, which is the row above.

The proportional hit is heaviest at the cheap end. A £2.49 nic salt bottle would carry £2.20 of duty, close to its current retail price, while the £6.99 Pro Ultra Plus pack carries £4.84 across far more liquid.
