Why the Pro Ultra Plus 25000 looks refillable

UK rules cap a pod at 2ml, which is why the 25000 carries the rest of its 22ml in tanks rather than in the pod itself. None of that refilling comes from a bottle, and none of it is something you do.
The name adds to it. Shops, this one included, list the packs as refill pods, because a new pack refills the device once the old one is empty. The word describes what the pack does for the device, not something you do to the pack.
And the tanks are easy to get at. Lift the mouthpiece and twist it, and the carrier lifts clear with both tanks sitting in it, so the liquid looks within reach. That is the same twist you use to change a pack, and in normal use it is also how you choose which tank feeds the pod.

- Lift the mouthpiece and twist it to release the carrier.
- Lift the carrier clear of the body, with both tanks still in it.
- Slide the spent tanks sideways out.
- Slide the new pack’s tanks in the same way, colour-matched to their sides.
- Drop the carrier back until it seats.
Nothing on this device pulls straight up, so if something resists, go back to the twist rather than pulling harder.
