Hayati Nicotine Strength: What 20mg, 10mg and 5mg Mean, Range by Range

Most Hayati is 20mg, the strongest a nicotine vape can legally be in the UK. The exception is the Pro Max Plus 6000: its pods come in 20mg, 10mg, 5mg and 0mg, and its kit in 20mg, 10mg and 0mg. The Pro Ultra Plus 25000, Mini Ultra, Rubik and Pro Max S1 are 20mg only. The Pro Ultra Plus Shisha 30000 is 5mg, and Hayati nic salts come in 10mg or 20mg. This guide lists every range’s strengths, explains what the numbers on the box mean and works out how much nicotine is in each pack.

Which strengths each Hayati range comes in

On the prefilled ranges, the pack you buy sets the strength, not the device. Every Pro Max Plus pod fits every Pro Max Plus device, whatever strength each one came in, so you can change strength pack by pack. The lower strengths are sold as their own listings, with fewer flavours than 20mg. Today the 10mg pods have 24 flavours in stock, the 5mg pods have 20 flavours and the 10mg kit has 30 flavours. What 20mg means, and why it is the same as 2%

A vape’s strength is the amount of nicotine in each millilitre of liquid. 20mg means 20 milligrams of nicotine in every ml. The same figure is often written as a percentage, and the two scales line up like this:

Two things follow from that. First, there is no such thing as a 20% vape. People search our shop for “20%”, and what they want is 20mg, which is 2%. Second, the 50mg (5%) vapes sold in some other countries are two and a half times the UK limit. The Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 cap nicotine vape liquid sold in the UK at 20mg/ml, and every Hayati vape product we sell is at or below it.

How much nicotine is in a Hayati pack

To find the nicotine in a pack, multiply the strength by the amount of liquid. A Pro Max Plus pack holds 12ml, a 2ml pod plus a 10ml refill container. At 20mg/ml that is 240mg of nicotine across the whole pack, of which the 2ml pod holds 40mg at a time.

That is the nicotine in the liquid, not a measure of how much you take in, which depends on how you vape. It is also why a bigger pack is not a stronger vape. A Pro Ultra Plus 25000 pack and a Mini Ultra pod are both 20mg; the 25000 simply holds more liquid.

Nic salt: why Hayati pods can be 20mg

The nicotine in every Hayati prefilled pod and bottle of Hayati nic salt is nicotine salt, usually shortened to nic salt. Nic salt is a form of nicotine that is smoother on the throat at higher strengths than the freebase nicotine used in traditional e-liquid. That is why pod devices are usually filled with nic salt at 10mg or 20mg.

Which strengths our customers buy

These figures come from our own paid orders since 22 August 2026. Most of the Hayati we sell is 20mg, largely because most ranges only come in 20mg. The Pro Max Plus is where the choice shows. Of the customers who bought Pro Max Plus pods or kits, about six in ten chose 20mg and about a third chose 0mg. 10mg and 5mg were each bought by fewer than one in ten. A customer who bought two strengths counts in both.

That tells you what is popular, not what will suit you. The next section sets out the choices by range.

Choosing a strength

• If you want 20mg, every prefilled Hayati range has it except the Shisha 30000. Choose the device on everything else: puffs, size, flavours and running cost. Our review of every Hayati range compares them.
• If you want a lower strength in a prefilled pod, the Pro Max Plus 6000 is the only Hayati range with 10mg, and its pods also come in 5mg. The Pro Ultra Plus Shisha 30000 is 5mg.
• If you might change strength later, the Pro Max Plus lets you do it without a new device: change the pack. Its pods are 3 for £15, and the deal counts Pro Max Plus pods of any strength together.

Nicotine pouches are measured differently

Hayati nicotine pouches are not a vape, and their strength is not measured per millilitre. The figure on the tin, 12mg, 20mg or 30mg, is the nicotine in each pouch. The 20mg/ml limit for vape liquid does not apply to them, so a 20mg pouch and a 20mg vape are not measuring the same thing. The whole range is on the Hayati nicotine pouches page.

Is 20mg the same as 2%?

Yes. 20mg means 20mg of nicotine in every ml of liquid, which is 2% written as a percentage. There is no 20% vape: 20mg, or 2%, is the highest strength a nicotine vape can be sold at in the UK.

How much nicotine is in a Hayati Pro Max pod?

A 20mg Pro Max Plus pack holds 12ml of liquid, a 2ml pod and a 10ml refill container, so it contains 240mg of nicotine in total. The 2ml pod holds 40mg of that at a time. At 10mg the pack holds 120mg, at 5mg 60mg, and a 0mg pack has none.

Does the Hayati Pro Ultra Plus come in 10mg?

No. The Pro Ultra Plus 25000 is 20mg only. The Pro Ultra Plus Shisha 30000 is a 5mg version, and for 10mg in a prefilled pod, the Pro Max Plus 6000 is the Hayati range to look at.
