What it costs to buy and to run

What Price Multibuy
Rubik kit £5.99 3 for £16.99
Rubik pods £3.99 3 for £10

A £3.99 pod rated at 7,000 puffs is about 57p per 1,000, and three for £10 brings it to 48p. That puts the Rubik second only to the Pro Ultra Plus on running cost and well under the Pro Max Plus, which is the argument for it.

How the capacity works

UK law caps a pod at 2ml. The Rubik pairs a 2ml pod with a sealed 10ml container of the same flavour that tops it up as you vape — 12ml in total, fed through a compliant 2ml pod, which is where the 7,000-puff rating comes from. The pod is not designed to be opened. Our review of the range explains the mechanism in full.

Who it suits

It is a good first Hayati for anyone who wants something simple, and a sensible step for people moving off single-use vapes — the format is familiar, but it recharges and takes a fresh pod rather than being binned. Every Rubik pod is 20mg nicotine salt; there is no 10mg or zero-nicotine option in this range.

Rubik pods fit the Rubik only, and no other Hayati pod will fit it. See all 20 Rubik flavours with tasting notes, browse Hayati pods for every range, or compare devices on the Hayati pod kits page.

Common questions

What is the Hayati Rubik?

The Rubik is a compact rechargeable Hayati pod kit at £5.99, rated to around 7,000 puffs, taking sealed prefilled pods at £3.99 or three for £10. It is the simplest device in the range — no flavour switching, no screen.

How many puffs is the Hayati Rubik?

Around 7,000 per pod. Rated counts are measured on machine draws, so long slow draws land lower; the figure is for comparing devices rather than a promise. The device itself recharges and is measured in months.

Can you refill a Hayati Rubik?

No. The Rubik uses sealed prefilled pods that are replaced rather than refilled, and opening one usually ruins the coil. The Hayati you fill yourself is the Quokka, which takes any 10ml nic salt.

How much is the Hayati Rubik?

The kit is £5.99, or three for £16.99. Replacement pods are £3.99, or three for £10 — about 48p per 1,000 puffs on the deal, which is the second-cheapest running cost in the Hayati range.
