The Hayati Quokka Elite is the mid kit in the refillable range, at £14.99. It is part of the Hayati Quokka range — the only Hayati kits that take a pod you fill yourself rather than a sealed prefilled one.
Every Quokka kit shares the same hardware — a rechargeable 1,100mAh battery and the same refillable 2ml pod — so the choice between the Lite at £8.99, the Elite at £14.99 and the Pro at £20.99 is body, finish and price rather than performance.
Fill it with any 10ml nicotine salt at 50/50 VG/PG, including the full Hayati Pro Max nic salt range at £2.49 a bottle or any five for £10. A 10ml bottle fills the 2ml pod five times over, which is why the Quokka is the cheapest Hayati to keep running. Our guide on 10mg or 20mg covers the strength choice. Do not use a high-VG sub-ohm shortfill — 70/30 in a small mouth-to-lung pod is the usual cause of a burnt coil.
Replacement Quokka pods are £6.99 in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω coils, with the tighter resistances suiting a mouth-to-lung draw. Available in 7 finishes.
